Dec 13th - The Holiday Edition feat. The Patience Product and the Autumn Portait LIVE!

Listen or Download Here
!

T'is the season to hang out with friends, drink beverages and sing songs, and that's what we did. I was joined by the Patience Product, who let me into their studio at the famous Garage, to record an entire live-ish set (if you consider a 3-hour delay to be live), and then it was back to the CiTR world headquarters for a live acoustic set with the Autumn Portrait. In addition to this, we were also joined by local emcee T Train, a representative of the Canadian Talent Farm, and the ever festive Bodhi Jones!

November 29th, Elective meets Cairo.

Listen here.

If there's one thing I love, it's a reunion (provided you're not reuniting with someone you owe money to, in which case, I don't owe these people anything). I was joined by CJ Wallis, director and composer turned rock star with a new musical outfit entitled "Elective", and JP Lancaster, lead singer and vox of local band Cairo!

Now despite the familiarity of the cast, this show was special for several reasons, for one, there was a thumb wrestle (and I don't need to tell you how special a thumb wrestle can make any gathering), secondly, JP brought along a fully mastered track from Cairo's upcoming debut album, along with some demo tracks that differ from anything else out there. Not to be outdone, CJ also brought along a mastered Elective track, to add to the fun, he phoned up and interviewed his musical colleague from NY - Kayleigh Goldsworthy, whom he has never met - dare I say, it was the first time in radio history a band has actually met on the air? Dare I say anything at all? I also indulged my curiosity of energy beverages and downed a Mario Bros. themed "Power Up" can o' juice. I ended up talking really fast by the end of it. Don't do drugs, kids.

Nov. 15th - Fundrive Special with Shomberg Fair and Whitey PLAYING FOR DOLLARS.

Listen Here!

Ever year, CiTR takes a couple weeks out of its schedule to raise some funds to keep the station a-rockin' as well as it ever does. This year, I along with a couple trusty sound engineers - Evan and Irene, brought you a local ska band who go by the moniker "Whitey", and a jams there were! Also, I thought it'd be appropriate to throw out some tracks by musical talents as previously seen on this show. With the exception of the Shomberg Fair, of which, we speak with Nathan on the road before he gets in to town to blow the roof of one lucky joint!
